COMPLETENESS
We will assume that the manuscript is complete and finished
unless you tell us otherwise. Please don’t send
us your text before you’ve finished writing it!
You should make your manuscript as complete and finished
as possible because making changes after it has been
sent to us or at any page proof stage can be particularly
time-consuming, and expensive to you.
If it is impossible to provide certain elements of text,
e.g. a Foreword (being written by someone else), or
an Index (which can’t be provided until most pages
have been made-up), then please include a note in the
text where you want the missing item to appear and indicating
how many (typeset) pages should be allowed; for example,
‘Foreword – to come. Allow two pages’.
Please do double-check that all pages are present before
you send your manuscript to us.
