TIMESCALE
We work with professional typesetters
and most of the major book printers in the country –
companies who produce books for the leading national
and international publishers. This enables us to achieve
the best prices for our clients for what is a professionally
finished product. Whether it is work for established
publishers or authors, the approximate timescale for
the entire design and production process from the point
that the manuscript is ready for typesetting to delivery
of the finished books is normally about
seventeen weeks (but longer
over Christmas or Easter). This period includes two
to three weeks for the author to check proofs over one
or two stages. Work on the cover design goes on at the
same time as the text is being typeset, and commences
after we have received your order for us to produce
your book.
It is sometimes possible to design and produce books
in a shorter period than this standard timescale, so
if you have a particular requirement regarding the schedule
for your book please let us know about this at an early
stage so that we can see if we can achieve it for you.
For a reprint of a book we have previously produced,
with no corrections required, we can normally achieve
delivery within four weeks of receipt of your order
(longer over Christmas or Easter).
